YOUR FAMILY, YOUR INFORMATION
Privacy policy
Last updated: October 2, 2026
Daylik is operated by Kiryl Nazarau. For questions about your information, contact wallpixinfo@gmail.com.
Daylik is currently in development. This policy covers this website and explains how information is handled when you use the Daylik app, including a test build. Visiting this website does not create an app account or upload family information.
Visiting this website
This is a static website hosted on DigitalOcean in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. It has no advertising trackers, analytics scripts, contact forms, newsletter database, or cookies set by Daylik. Images and styles are served from this domain. The hosting infrastructure may process your IP address, requested page, browser information, request time, and response status to deliver and secure the website. Daylik website access logs are rotated daily and retained for up to 14 days; a limited record may be retained longer where needed to investigate a security incident or meet a legal obligation.
If you email us, we receive your email address and anything you include in the message. Support email is handled through Gmail (Google). We use it to answer your request and keep the correspondence for as long as needed to resolve and follow up on the issue, or as required by law. Please do not email passwords, sign-in codes, or unnecessary information about a child.
Information in the app
In local mode, your device stores child names or nicknames and ages, tasks and schedules, completion history, notes, selected photos, coins, and rewards. Use a nickname where possible. Your parent PIN and recovery code are stored as salted hashes, not as readable codes. Account tokens are stored in iOS Keychain.
If a parent connects an account for family syncing, Daylik processes the Apple account identifier, email address provided by Apple (which may be a private relay address), family and device identifiers, and the family information selected for syncing. Parent PINs and recovery codes are not uploaded. A child does not need an email address and connects by a one-time invitation. A linked child device can access its own profile, while the parent manages the family.
Photos are optional and are uploaded only when you choose to submit them through a connected account. They are stored privately. Please avoid photographs containing documents, addresses, or other information unrelated to the task. If notifications are enabled, device notification tokens are used to deliver them. Apple handles payments; Daylik receives subscription status information, not payment-card details.
Why we use information
We use information to provide the features you request: account access, family syncing, task reviews, coins and rewards, notifications, recovery, and support. We also use limited technical information to protect the service and diagnose failures. We do not sell family information or use child profiles for advertising.
Where European data protection law applies, processing needed to provide your requested service is based on the contract with the adult account holder; optional permissions and uploads rely on consent where required; limited security and support processing relies on our legitimate interest in running a safe, functioning service. We may also process information to meet legal obligations. You can withdraw optional permissions in iOS settings and contact us about withdrawing consent; withdrawal does not affect processing that was lawful before it.
Families and children
Daylik is designed for use under a parent or legal guardian’s supervision. An adult sets up the family, decides what information to add, and manages child devices. There are no public profiles or chats with strangers. If you believe information about a child has been provided without the required authority or consent, contact us so we can investigate and remove it where appropriate.
Service providers and international processing
Supabase provides app authentication, database services, and private photo storage; the configured project region is Ireland. Apple provides Sign in with Apple, purchases, and Apple Push Notification service. DigitalOcean hosts this website, and Google handles support email. These providers may process technical or account information in other countries under their service terms and applicable data-protection safeguards. A European hosting region does not mean all provider operations occur exclusively in Europe. For details, see the Supabase, Apple, DigitalOcean, and Google privacy information.
Advertising and external links
The app does not use IDFA, behavioral advertising, or third-party analytics. A clearly identified sponsor message may appear in the parent area. We do not send a child’s profile to the sponsor. Following an external link opens a service with its own privacy rules. Daylik Plus removes sponsor messages.
Keeping and deleting information
Local information remains on your device until you remove it. Connected family information is kept while the account is used and until the parent requests deletion. The app provides account deletion in the parent’s account settings; you can also contact support. We verify your authority before disclosing or deleting family information. Deletion removes the family and photos from active cloud storage. Provider backups and technical logs, if present, expire under the provider’s retention settings rather than being immediately rewritten.
Deleting the app does not itself delete a cloud account or cancel an Apple subscription. Manage subscriptions in your Apple Account settings. Disconnected child devices lose server access; a saved local copy can only be cleared once the app next connects. Encrypted backups you export to Files are under your control and must be deleted separately.
Your choices and rights
You can edit family information, export an encrypted backup, revoke a child device, and request deletion. Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, portability, restriction, or erasure, and object to certain processing. Email wallpixinfo@gmail.com to exercise these rights. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority. We do not make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects about you through automated profiling.
Changes
We will update this page when our practices change and revise the date above. Material changes affecting connected families will be communicated through the app or another appropriate channel.
